RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHAIR TO SIGN AGREEMENT AMENDMENT BETWEEN
STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES
AND
BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
CRISIS COUNSELING ASSISTANCE AND TRAINING PROGRAM GRANT

WHEREAS, Butte County (Department of Behavioral Health (Department) requires authorization from the Butte
County Board of Supervisors to amend the State Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) Crisis Counseling Assistance
and Training Program (CCP) Grant agreement for FY 2017-18 through 2018-19; and
WHEREAS,the Department entered into an agreement with DHCS for funding for the CCP; and
WHEREAS, DHCS now wishes to amend the agreement to add funding for the Regular Services Program; and
WHEREAS, DHCS shall provide funding to Butte County through the Department for the CCP; and
WHEREAS, DHCS requires the Butte County Board of Supervisors to authorize the CCP agreement amendment for
FY 2017-18 through FY 201.8-19
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Behavioral Health Department is authorized by the
Board of Supervisors to renew this agreement with the DHCS for a total of$1,054,273.49 and to accept above described
provisions of this agreement.

vote:
