HomeMy WebLinkAbout18-159 - / / fir _ , // ,,i,, /�J,,,, /l//, , „ /r�l,% // /// /,/J/, f%,, ,// Ir ,/, /�>,/�/1„ /�rl, ,a, r✓ l- r .,v�0v,��I���d�//o � „ ,,.,,�m///,moi///i�,., � ,/�/��u�/.,r.r/�✓/., r l � , /�/,%r// � , , /r. �ir/r��il �l��i,,.��ri/�„l!,�>�J,o/��,. , /J r Resolution No. 18-159 RESOLUTION DESIGNATING BUTTE COUNTY AS ADMINISTRATIVE ENTITY FOR THE HOMELESS EMERGENCY AID PROGRAM WHEREAS, the State of California (the "State"), Homeless Coordinating and Financing Council ("HCFC") issued a Notice of Funding Availability ("NOFA") dated September 5, 2018 under the H'omelless Emergency Aid Program (HEAP or Program); and WHEREAS, Butte County is an Administrative Entity designated by the Butte Countywide Homeless Continuum of Care to administer Homeless Emergency AidProgram funds; and WHEREAS, HCFC may approve funding allocations for the HEAP Program, subject to the terms and conditions of the NOFA, Program requirements, and the Standard Agreement and other contracts between HCFC and HEMP grant recipients. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors as follows: 1. If Butte County receives a grant of HEAP funds from HCFC pursuant to the above referenced HEAP NOFA, it represents and certifies that it will use all such funds in a manner consistent and in compliance with all applicable state and federal statutes, rules, regulations, and laws, including without limitation all rules and laws regarding the HEAP Program, as well as any and all contracts Applicant may have with HCFC, 2. Butte County is hereby authorized and directed to receive a HEAP grant, in an amount not to exceed $4,889,945 in accordance with all applicable rules and laws while acknowledging that the current allocation is$4,889,945. 3. Butte County hereby agrees to use the HEAP funds for eligible activities as approved by HCFC and in accordance with all Program requirements, and other rules and laws,as well as in a manner consistent and in compliance with the Standard Agreement and other contracts between Butte County and HCFC. 4. Butte County Director of the Department of Employment and Social Services, Butte County Director of the Department of Behavioral Health, or the Chief Administrative Officer are authorized to execute the Standard Agreement and any subsequent amendments or modifications thereto,as well as any other documents which are related to the Program or the HEAP grant awarded to Butte County, as HCFC may deem appropriate.
