Resolution No. 18-171
RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE 2010(BUTTE COUNTY GENERAL PLAN IS CONSISTENT WITH THE
2017 BUTTE COUNTY AIRPORT LAND USE COMPATIBILITY PLAN
WHEREAS, on. March 2.5, 2015, Butte County was awarded a grant from the California Transportation
Commission (CTC)to update the 2000 Butte County Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan (ALUCP); and
WHEREAS, in March 2016,the County entered into two-year contract with a consultant Mead & Hunt to prepare
the update to the Butte County ALUCP along with the corresponding environmental documents; and
WHEREAS,on November 15,2017,the Butte County Airport Land Use Commission adopted the 2017 Butte County
ALUCP update and the Initial Studies/Negative Declarations; and
WHEREAS, Government Cade section 65302.3(a)-(b) requires that once an ALUC has adopted or amended an
ALUCP, general plans and any applicable specific plans shall be amended, as necessary, in order to be consistent with the
ALUCP; and
WHEREAS,the Department of Development Services will conform references in the Butte County General Plan to
reflect the Butte County ALUCP's Airport Land Use Compatibility Zones (General Plan Exhibit LU-6) and change references
from the 2000 Butte County ALUCP to the 2017 BCALUCP (General Plan pages i, 2-2,4-30 and 4-48).
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby determines that the 2010,
Butte County General Plan and 2012 Zoning Code are consistent with the 2017 Butte County Airport Land Use
Compatibility Plan..
