Resolution No. 18-175
RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF LEILANI GOFF
UPON RETIREMENT FROM
BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, Leilani Goff, Employment and Eligibility Supervisor with the Department of Employment and Social
Services (DESS), has announced her retirement effective december 28, 20418; and
WHEREAS, Leilani began her career with the County of Butte on March 23, 1994 as an Office Assistant, then
promoted to Eligibility Worker on October 21, 1995. Thereafter she served in various positions of increasing responsibility
in the Employment and Eligibility program, including, her current responsible position as an Employment and Eligibility
Supervisor since September 14, 2013; and
WHEREAS, Leilani has devoted her career to improving the lives of children, families and seniors and has taken
great pride in her job as a public servant conducting herself with the highest level of integrity and responsibility; and
WHEREAS, as an Employment and Eligibility Supervisor, Leilani dedicated herself to providing excellent customer
service to staff and the families served, and valued the role of educating and empowering staff to provide the highest
quality of work; and
WHEREAS, Leilani has worked diligently for the past 24 years and 91 months in the best interest of Butte County
and its residents,earning the respect of her DESS collleag,ues,employees,and the many families she served over the years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby extends its appreciation
for your many years of dedicated service.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 1.1'day of December,2018, by the following
vote:
AYES:Supervisors Connelly, Wahl, Kirk,Teeter,and Chair Lambert
