Resolution No. 18-176
RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF WILLIAM MOLINE
UPON RETIREMENT FROM
BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, William Moline, Administrative Analyst, Senior with the Department of Employment and Social
Services (DESS), has announced his retirement effective December 21, 2018; and
WHEREAS, William began his career with the County of Butte on September 18, 1989 as a Social Worker in the
Children Services program and promoted to Social Worker Supervisor in the Employment Services program on .lune 15,
1996. William promoted to his current responsible position as an Administrative Analyst,Senior in the CalWORKs program
August, 7, 2000; and
WHEREAS, William has devoted his career to improving the lives of children, families and seniors and has taken
great pride in his job as a public servant conducting himself with the highest level of integrity and responsibility; and
WHEREAS, as a Supervisor, William dedicated himself to providing excellent customer service to staff and the
families served and valued the role of educating and empowering staff to provide the highest quality of work; and
WHEREAS, William provided strong analytical skills serving both Employment and Eligibility staff; and
WHEREAS, William has worked diligently for the past 29 years and 8 months in the best interest of Butte County
and its residents, earning the respect of his DESS colleagues, employees, and the many families he served over the years.
NOW,.THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby extends its appreciation
for your many years of dedicated service.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 11th day of December,2018,by the following
vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Wahl, Kirk,Teeter, and Chair Lambert
