AN INTERIP~ ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF TIE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN"RT-1"

DISTRICT
1 T The Board of5upervisors of the County of Qutte, State
2 of California, under and pursuant to Chapter 2~-30 of the Butte
3 County Code, and declaring an emergency, DO pRDRIN as follows:
4 SECTION 1, The herinafter described area situated in
5 the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is
G hereby zoned as an 'RT-7" (Minimum Density Res i denti al -Mobi 1 e
7 Mome) District far a period of 120 days, and such area shall
~ be subject to the restrictions anal restricted uses and regulations
~ I~Erein.after specified and provided.

11 area of Butte County, Chico, more particularly described as
12 follows:
13 The southeasterly 330 ft, of the northwesterly
X95 ft. of Lot 32 of "Hobart Sub" per Pap of
14 Record in ~€ap Book 4 an Page 24 of the 3utte
County Recorder.

16 SECTION 2. REGULATIOfdS FOR AN "RT-1" DISTRICT:
17 The following regulations shatl apply in an "RT--1"
18 District:
19 (A) USES PERMITTED:
20 1. One single--family dwelling per parcel.
21 2, Mobile 1-lome to house one family, which such
22 Mobile home is the only housing facility. located on the premises,
23 provided the follo4~ring conditions are conformed to:
24 a. The floor area within the mobile Home
2S shall not be less than 500 sc~uar~ feet.
26 3. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses.

1 4. Household pets, but not including livestock, poultry,
2 or poisonous reptiles.
3 (B} The following uses subject to securing a use
4 permit in each case:
5 1. Golf courses and country clubs.
6 2. Public and quasi-public uses including churches,
7 firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools and
8 public utility buildings.
9 3, Sales tract office.
ld (C} The provisions of Section 2q~-33 shall apply.

13 SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said
14 .Butte County Code, Chapter 29~, the same is hereby amended by
15 adding this ordinance in full.
16 SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the
17 .zoning hereby imposed within the district small be as provided in
18 the -Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall from and
19 after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the
20 Butte County Code, Chapter 24.
23 SECTION 6. This urgency ordinance shall take effect
22 immediately upon its passage, and before the expiration of
23 fifteen (15) days after its passage shall 6e published once with::
24 the names of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for
25 and against the same in the Chico Enterprise Record a
26 newspaper in general circulation in the County of Butte, State '',

1 of California. The facts constituting the urgency on r~rhich this
2 Ordinance 15 based are:
3 1. To protect the health, safety, and welfare of
4 the public.
