HomeMy WebLinkAbout18211 2 3 4 5 s 7 8 gl 10 11 12 I.3 14 15 ~6 . 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 ORDINANCE N0. 1g~1 AN INTERIM ORDINANCE ZO~N`ING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, A`"C-~2" (GENERAL COMMERCIAL} DISTRICT The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, under and pursuant to Chapter 24-30 of the Butte County code, and declaring an emergency, DO ORDAIN as follows: SECTION 1. The~~hereinafter described area situated in the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned as a C-2 (General Commercial} District for a period of i20 days and such area shall be subject to the restr~ctiaa and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided. Said area so zoned being located northwest of Chico, more particularly described as follows: A11 that property located west of and within 300 ft. of Esplanade and between Mud Creek and Eaton Road extension. Excepting therefrom all that portion located within 252.11 ft. of the centerline of Eaton Road extension. All that property located west of and within 30'0 ft.. of Esplanade and between Shasta Ave. and East Ave. Excepting therefrom all that portion located within 660 ft. of the centerline of East Ave. and further excepting therefrom Lots 1 and 2 of that parcel map recorded ini~p Book 57 on Page 58 of the Butte County Recorder. SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR A C-2 DISTRICT: The following regulations shall apply in a G-2 District: (A} t#SE5 PERMITTED: 1. Lot width required: Minimum lot width shall ~ not be less than twenty-five (25) feet, 6 The lot width requirements for residential 7 dwellings shall conform to the requirements for any 8 residential zone, 9 2. In compliance with the. pro visions of said 25 Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is; hereby amended by ~6 adding this Ordinance in ivutl. - -3- 1 SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the 2 zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided 3 in the Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall from a 4 and after its effective date become a supplement to and part of 5 the Butte County Code, Chapter 24. i g SECTION fi. This urgency ordinance shall take effect 7 immediately upon its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen S (15} days after its passage shall be published once with the 9 names of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and 10 against the same in the Chico Enterprise Recora a newspaper 11 in general circulation i n the County of Butte, State of California. 12 The facts constituting the urgency on which this Ordinance is 13 based are: 14 1. To protect: the health, welfare, and safety of the 15 public. 16 2.
