AN INTERIM ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OE GAT~IFORNIA, AN "RT-1"
(MINIMUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL-MOBILE HOME)
DISTRICT
1 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
2 California, under and pursuant to Chapter 24-30 of the Butte County Code, and
3 declaring an emergency, DO ORDAIN as follows:
¢ SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in the
5 County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned as an
g "RT-1" (Minimum Density Residential.-Mobile Home) District for a period of one
7 week and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses
$ and regulations hereinafter specified and provided.
g Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated area of
10 Butte County, Chico, more particularly described as follows:
1_Z The southeasterly 330 ft, of the northwesterly 495
ft. of Lot 32 of "Hobart Sub" per Map of Record in
12 Map Book 4 on Page 24 of the Butte County Recorder.
~~ SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR AN "RT-1" DISTRICT:
I¢ The following regulations shall apply in an "RT-l" District:
15 (A) USES PERMITTED:
Zg 1. One single-family dwelling per parcelo
Z7 2. Mobile Home to house one family, which such Mobile
Zg Home is the only housing facility located on the premises, provided the
~g Following conditions are conformed to:
20. a. The floor area within the Mobile Home sha11 not
2Z be less than 540 square feet.
22 3. Accessary buildings pertinent to the permitted uses.
23 4. Household pets, but not including livestock, poultry,
24 or poisonous reptiles.
~~ {B) The following uses subject to securing a use permit in each

1. Golf courses and country clubs.
2. Public and quasi-public uses including churches,
firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools and public utility
buildings.
3. Sales tract office.
(C) 'The provisions of Secfion 24-33 sha11 apply.
SECTION 3. A11 uses of land within the district not specifically
authorized and permitted are prohibited.
SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said Butte
County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by adding this ordinance
in fu11.
SECTION 5o The penalties for the violation of the zoning hereby
imposed within the district shall be as provided in the Butte County Code,
Chapter 24, this Ordinance sha11 from and after its effective date become a
supplement to and part of the Butte County Code, Chapter 2~+.
SECTION 6. This urgency ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen {15) days after its
passage sha11 be published once within the names of the members of the
Board of Supervisors voting for and against the same in the Chico Enterprise
Record, a newspaper in general circulation in the County of Butte, State of
California. 'The facts constituting the urgency on which this Ordinance is
based are:

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, on the 19th day of July, 1977, by the
fallowing vote:
AXES: Supervisors Lemke, Madigan, Moseley, Winston and Chairman Richter
