The hereinafter described area situated in the County of Butteā€ž State of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned as an "SR~-1" (Suburban-Residential) District for a period of September 30, 1977 and such area sha13 be Subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided. Said area so zoned being located northwest of Chico, more particular3y described as follows: Lot 1 of "Cussick Tract" per map of record in Map Book 7 on Page 48 of the Butte County Recorder. Lot 15 of °Bay Tract No. 3" per map of record in Map Book l on Page l8 of the Butte County Recorder. Lots 5, : 7, i; and 12, the' S 2 of Lot 1 ~ and the westerly 4.51.29 ft. of Lot 8 of "Evans Tract" per map of record in Map Book 3 on Page 67 of the Butte County Recorder. Containing X90 acres, mare or less, Chico. SECTION ?_. REGULATIONS FOR AN "SR--1" DISTRICT: The follo~nring regulations shall apply in an "SR-1" District: (A} USE5 PERMITTED: 1 . One single fami 3y dwelling per parcel , root including tents, trailers or mobile homes. 2. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses. 1 3. Agricultural uses excepting a minimum lot area 2 of 43,560 square feet to be devoted to 3 residential use and the following additional 4 ~ requirements for each ani rrral kept on the 5 premises. 6 (a~ For each horse or head of cattle or 7 s~,rine over one year of age - eight 8 thousand one hundred twenty-five 9 (8,125) square feet. 10 (b} For each sheep or goat - two thousand 11 [2,000} square feet. 12 4. The minimum lot area per dwelling unit shall not 13 be less than one acre, the provisions of Section 14 24-33 notwithstanding. 15 5. The minimum lot width shall not be less than '~~ 16 one hundred thirty (l 30) feet, the provisions 17 of Section 24-33 notwithstanding. 1H {B) THE FOLLO~JING USES SUBJECT TO SECURIfJG A USE 19 PERMIT TN EACH CASE: 2d i. All uses of land within the district not specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited. SECTION 4, In compliance with the provisions of said Butte County Code, Chapter 2~, the sane is hereby amended by adding this Ordinance in full. SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall from and after its effective date became a supplement to and part of the Butte County Code, Chapter 24. SECTION 6. This urgency ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage shall be published once with the names of the members of the board of Supervisors voting for and against the same ~n the Chico Enterprise Record, a newspaper in general ~~circulation in the County of Butte,, State of California. The fact constituting the urgency on which this Ordinance is based is: 1.
