AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY DF
BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "AR-{4lFi" (AGRI-
CULTURAL RESIDENTIAL - MOBILE HOME) DISTRICT,
PURSUANT TO CFlAPTER 24-29.
1 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
2 of California, under and pursuant to Chapter 24-29 of the Butte
3 County Code of said County DO ORDAIN as follows:
4 SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in
5. the County of Butte, State of California, sha11 be and it is
6 hereby zoned as an "AR-M E{" {Agricultural Residential -Mobile Home)
7 District, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and
S restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided.
9 Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated
zo area of Butte County, Oroville, more particularly described as
ZZ follows:
12 The North 1/2 of Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 of
B~oc~C 20 of Villa Verona Sub per Wall Map
13 No. l2 of Record of the Butte County Retorder.
14 Containing 10..acres, more or less.
1,5 SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR AN "AR-MH" DISTRICT:
16 The following regulations shall apply in an "AR-MH"
~7 District.
18 (A) USES PERMITTED:
~.9 1. One single-family dwelling per parcel.
20 2. Mobile home - to house one family, when such mobile
2Z ~ home is the only housing facility located on the
22 premises, provided-the fallowing conditions are
23 conformed to: .
24 {a) The gross area of the mobile home shall not be
2S less than 500 squai^e feet;
26 3. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses,

~ 4. Agricultural uses, except livestock, subject to
2 requirements as follows:
3 In addition to the minimum square footage required
4 to be devoted to residential use the following
5 minimum lot or parcel areas shall be required for
6 each animal raised or kept on the premises:
7 (a) For each horse or head of cattle over {1) year
8 of age - eight thousand one hundred twenty-five
9 {8,125) square feet;
to (b) For each head of swine over ten (10) weeks of
I.1 age -eight thousand one hundred twenty-five {8,125)
12 square feet;
~.~ {c) For each head of sheep or goats - two thousand
~4 {2,000) square feet.
~5 {B) THE FOLLOWING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PERMIT
Z6 IN EAC~i CASE:
17 1. Duplex dwellings and multiple-family dwellings.
18 2. Gelf courses, country clubs, if permitted, would
19 permit accessory uses such as driving range, pro
20 shop, cocktail bar, restaurant.
2I 3. Public and quasi-public uses including churches,
22 firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds,
23 schools and public Utility districts.
24 q., Commercial poultry farming and livestock farming.
2~ 5. Veterinary clinics, outpatient.
26 6, Nurseries and plant gardens.

1 7. Sales tract office.
2 {C) THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 24-33 SHALL APPLY.
3 SECTION 3. A11 uses of land within the district not
4 specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited.
5 SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said
6 Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by
7 adding this Ordinance in full.
8 SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the
9 zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in
10 the Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall from and
lI after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the
12 Butte County Code, Chapter 24.
13 SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby
34 declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30)
15 days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
16 fifteen {15} days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be
17 published once with the names of the members of the Board of
z8 Supervisors voting for and against i t i n the Oroville Mercury

20 State of California.
2Z PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of
22 the County of Butte, State of California, an the 23rd
2~ day of August 1977, by the fallowing vote:
24 AYES; Supervisors Lemke, Madigan, Moseley, Winston and Chairman Richter
