AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF
BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "RT-1" (SINGLE
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL -MOBILE HOMES) DISTRICT,
PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 2.4-29.
1 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
2 of California, under and pursuant to Chapter 24-29 of the Butte
~ County Code of sa~.d County DO ORDAIN as follows:
4 SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in
~ the County of Butte, State of California, sha11 be and it is
g hereby zoned as an "RT-1" (Single Family Residential - Mobile
7 Homes) District, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions
g and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and
g provided.
10 Said area so zoned being ].orated in the unincorporated
11 area of Butte County, Magalia, more particularly described as
12 follows:
13 The SE 1/~ of the SW 1/~ of Sec, 23, T23N,
R3E, MDB&M, excepting therefrom the following
l4 described parcel:
15 Beginning at the S 1/~ corner of Sec, 23,
T23N, R3E, MDB&M; ~h~i~de S $9° 33 ! ~!1" W,
16 903.66 ft. along the south line of said
Sec. 23; thence northeasterly to a point
17 located S 8g° 52' ~~" W, 250 ft. distant
from the NE corner of the SE 1/~ of the
18 SW 1/4 of said Sec. 23; thence N $9° 52' ',
~~4" E, 250 ft .; thence S 0° 0' fig" W, 2279 .11
19 ft. to the true paint of beginning.

21 SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR AN "RT-~." DISTRICT:
22 The following regulations sha11 apply ~.n an "RT-l"
23 District.
24 (A} USES PERMITTED:
2S 1. One single-family dwelling per parcel
26 2. Mobile home to house one family, which such

Mobile Home is the only housing facility located
on the premises, provided the following conditions
are conformed to:
(a) The floor area within the Mobile Home shall
not be less than 500 square-feet.
3. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted
ilSeS .
4. Household pets, but not including livestock,
poultry, or poisonous reptiles.
(B) THE FOLLOWING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PERMIT
1N EACH CASE:
1. Golf courses and country clubs,
2. Public and quasi-public uses including churches,
firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds,
schools and public utility buildings,
3. Sales tract office.
{C) THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 2~#-33 SHALL APPLY.
SECTION 3. A11 uses of land within the district not
specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited.
SECTION 4. In compliance-with the provisions of said
Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by
adding this Ordinance in full.
SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the
zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in
the Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall from and
after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the

1 Butte County Code, Chapter 24.
2 SECTION b. Th~.s Ordinance shall be and it is hereby
3 declared to be in full. force and effect from and after thirty (30}
4 days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
5 fifteen {15} days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be
6 published once with the names of the members of the Baard of
7 Supervisors voting for and against ~.t in the Paradise
8 Post , a newspaper published in the County of Butte,
9 State of California.
10 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of
lI the County of Butte, State of. California, on the 20th day

13 AYES: Supervisors Madigan, 1Vloseley, Winston and Chairman Richter
14 NOES: None
15 ABSENT: Supervisor Lemke
