The Board; of Supervisors of the: County of Butte, State.
of California, under and pursuant to Chapter 24-29.of,the.8utte

SECTION.1. The hereinafter described area situated zn

shops, professional offices, restaurants, shoe
shops, storage garages, studios and tailor shops,
public utility commercial offices, and other uses
which are of similar character to those enumer-
ated and which grill not be detrimental or
obnoxious to the neighborhood in which they are
to be located.
3. Outdoor advertising signs, new automobile sales
and theaters.
(g} THE FOLLOI~lING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PERMIT
IN EACH CASE:
1. Automobile Gourts and mobile home parks.
2. Public and quasi-public uses, including churches,

(C} THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 24-33 OF THIS CODE ARE

twenty-five {25} feet.
The tat width requirements for residential
dwellings shall conform to the requirements for
any residential zone.
2. Side yard requirements:
None, except when the side of a lot abuts upon
the side of a l of i n an "R" District, i n which
case the abutting side yard shall not be less
than five {5} feet; and except where the side
yard an the street side of a corner lot abuts
on an "R" District, in which case the side yard
on the street side shall be one-half the front
yard required in such "R" Districts.
The side yard requirements far residential
dwellings shall conform to the requirements for
any residential zone.
3. Rear yard requirements:
Twelve {12} feet, ar five {5} feet ad,~acent to
an alley.
SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not
(specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited.
SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said
Butte County Cade, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by
adding this Ordinance in full.
SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the
zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in

the Butte County Cade, Chapter 24, this Ordinance sllal7 from and
after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the
Butte County Cade, Chapter 2~.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance steall be and it is hereby
declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30)
days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
fifteen (15y days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be
~Ipublished once with the names of the members of the Board of
Supervisors voting for and against it in the Oroville
Mercury a newspaper published in the County of Butte,
State of California.

County of Butte, State of California, on the 1]th day of
October 1977, by the following vote:
