AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF
BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "AR-MH" (AGRI-
CULTURAL RESIDENTIAL-MOBILE HOME} DISTRICT,
PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 24-29.
1 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
2 of California, under and pursuant to Chapter 24-29 of the Butte
3 County Code of said County QO ORDAIN as follows:
4 SECTION 1. The hereinaf ter described area situated in
5 the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is
6 hereby zoned as an "AR-MH" (Agricultural Residential-Mobile Home}
7 District, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and
8 restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided.
9 Said area so zoned being located in tl~e unincorporated
10 area of Butte County, Paradise, more particularly described as
11 follows:
12 The northerly 161 ft. of the westerly 231
ft. of the SE 1/4 of Sec. 27, T22N, R3E,
13 MDB&i~ .
14 Containing 0.85 acres, more or less.
15 SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR AN "AR-MH" DISTRICT:
16 The following regulations shall apply in an "AR-MH"
17 District.
18 (A} USES PERMITTED:
19 1. One single-family dwelling per parcel.
20 2. Mobile home - to house one family, when such mobilE
21 home is the only housing facility located on the
22 premises, provided the following conditions are
23 conformed to:
24 (a) The gross area of the mobile home shall not
~~ be less than 500 square feet.
26 3. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses

4. Agricultural uses, except livestock, subject to
requirements as follows:
Tn addition to the minimum square footage required
to be devoted to residential use the following
minimum lot or parcel areas shall be required for
each animal raised or kept on the premises;
(a} For each parse or head of cattle over one {l)
year of age - eight thousand one hundred
twenty-five {8,725} square feet.
{b) For each head of swine over ten {l0) weeks of
age - eight thousand one hundred twenty-five
(8,125} square feet.
(c) For each head of sheep or goats - two thousand
(2,000) square feet.
{B) THE FOLLOWING OSES SUBJECT TO SECORTNG A OSE PERMIT
TN EACH CASE:
1. Duplex dwellings and multiple-family dwellings.
2. Golf courses, country clubs, if permitted, would
permit accessory uses such as driving range,
pro shop, cocktail bar, restaurant.
3. Public and quasi-public uses including churches,
firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds,
schools and public utility districts.
~. Commercial poultry farming and livestock farming.
5. Veterinary clinics, outpatient.
6. Nurseries and plant gardens.

(C) TIIE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 24-33 SHAi.L APPLY.
SECTION 3, All uses of land within the district not
specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited.
SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said
Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by
adding this Ordinance in full.
SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the
zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in
the Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall from and
after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the
Butte County Code, Chapter 24.
SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby
declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30)
days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
fifteen (l5~ days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be
published once with the names of the members of the Board of
Supervisors voting for and against i t i n the Paradise
Post a newspaper published in the County of Butte,
State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Butte, State of California, on the 11th day
of October , 1977, by the following +vote:
