BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "SR-1" {SUBURBAN
RESIDENTIAL) ZONE, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 24-29.

The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, under and pursuant to Chapter 24-29 of the Butte
County Code of said County DO ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION I. The hereinafter described area situated
in the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is
hereby' zoned as an "SR-110 {Suburban Residential} District, and
such area shall be subject to the restrict~.ons and restricted
uses and regulations here~n.after specified and provided.
Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated
area of Butte County, Paradise, more particularly described as
follows:
That portion of the southerly 882:5 ft. of
the NW ~ of Sec. 19, T22N, R4E, MDB&M located
east of Feather River Place.
The northerly 437.5 ft. of the southerly 882.5 ft.
of the W ~/z of the SW ~ of the NE y~ of Sec. 19,
T22N, R4E, MDB&M.
The northerly 100 ft. of the southerly 445 ft. of
the westerly 450 ft. of the SW ~ of the NE ~ of
Sec. 19, T22N, R4E, MDB&M.
The northerly 225 ft. of the southerly 325 ft.
of the W ~ of the SW ~/~+ of the NE ~- of Sec. 19,
T22N, R4E, MDB&M.
The southerly 100 ft. of the westerly 800 ft.
of the SW ~/~ of the NE Y4 of Seco ` 19, ~-T22N; .
R4E, MDB&M.
That portion of the W /z of the SE ~ of Seco
19, T22N, R4E, MDB&M, located ~?orth of "Country
Club Estates Unit No. 2" per Map of Record in
Map Book 20 an Page 34 and 35 of the Butte
County Recorder excepting therefrom the following
described three parcels:
Parcel 1: The northerly 125 ft. of the W ~/~
of the SE}~. of said Sec. 19.

Parcel 2: The southerly 125 ft. of the
northerly 250 ft. of the easterly
650 ft. of the W /~ of the SE ~ of
said Seca 19.
Parcel 3: The southerly 120 ft. of the
northerly 535 ft. of the easterly
195 ft. of the SE ~ of said Sec. 19.
Containing 50 acres, more or less, Paradise..
SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR AN 'tSR--1't DISTRICT:
{A) Uses permitted:
1. One single-family dwelling per parcel, not
including tents, trailers or mobil homes.
2. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted
uses.
3. Agricultural -uses excepting a minimum lot area
of 43,560 sq. fto to be devoted to residential use
and the following additional requirements for each
animal kept on the premises.

b. For each sheep or goat-~-two thousand
(2,000} sq. ft.
4. The minimum lot area per dwelling unit shall
not be less than one acre, the provisions of Section
24-33 notwithstanding.
5. The minimum lot width shall not be less than
one hundred thir-Gy (130) feet, the provisions of

{B) The following uses subject to securing a use
permit in each case:
1. Golf courses and country clubs.
20 Public and quasi-public uses including churches,
firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools
and public utility buildings.
3. Sales tract office.
(C) Section 24-33 shall apply excepting lot width and
I lot area.
SECTION 3. ,A.11 uses of land within the district not
specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited.
SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said
Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by
adding this Ordinance in full.
SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zon~:ng
hereby imposed within the distract shall be as provided in the
Butte Counter Code, Chapter 2LI-, this Ordinance shall from and after
its effective date become a supplement to and part of the Butte
County Cade, Chapter 24.
SECTION ~. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby
declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30)
day's after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
fifteen {15) days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be pub-
lished once with the names of the members of the Board of Super-~
visors voting for and against it in the Ridge Gazette

a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, on the 15th day of November,
197, by the following vote:
