BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "AR-MH"
{AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAIr -- MOBILE HOMES}
DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 24-29.

The Board of Supervisors of the Coun-L~ of Butte, State
of California, under and pursuant to Chapter 24-29 of the Butte
County Code of said County DO ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in
the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is
hereb~r zoned as an "AR-MH°` {Agricultural-Residential -~ Mobile
Homes) District, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions',
and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and
provided.
Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated
area of Butte County, Oroville, more particularly' described as
follows:
A portion of the S 1/2 of the SW 1/4 of the
SE 1/4 of Sec. 26, T19N, R4E, MDB&M described
as follows: Beginning at the SE corner of
said S 1/2 of the SW 1/4 of said SE lj4 of
said Sec. 26; thence along the south line of
said fraction, S 89 30' Ol" W, 1368.04 ft.
to the SW corner of said fraction; thence
along the west line of said fraction, N 0° 13`
50" E, 654.52 ft. to the NW corner of said
fraction; thence along the north line of said
fraction, N S9° 25' 22" E, 1346x94 ft. to a
point; thence leaving said north line of said
fraction, S 0° 07' S6" W, 6.49 ft.; thence
S 65 00'E, 22.03 ft. to a point in the east
line of said fraction; thence along said east
line, S 0° 07' S6" W, 640.35 ft. to the point
of beginning.
Containing 20.0 acres, mare or less, Oroville.
SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR AN "~R-MH" DISTRICT:
The following regulations shall' apply in an "AR-MH"

(A) Uses permitted:
1. One single-family dwelling per parcel.
2. Mobile home - to house one family, when such
mobile home is the only housing facility located on
the premises, provided the following conditions are
conformed to:
a. The gross area of the mobile home shall
not be less than 500 square feet;
3. Accessary buildings pertinent to the permitted
uses.
4. Agricultural uses, except livestock, subject
to requirementszs follows:
In addition to the m~.nimum square footage
required to be devoted to residential use the
following minimum lot or parcel areas shall be
required ~'or each animal raised or kept on the
premises:
~. For each horse or head of cattle over one
(1} year of age - eight thousand one hundred
twenty-five (8,125) square feet,
b. For each head of swine over ten {10)
weeks of age - eight thousand one hundred twenty-
five {8,125) square feet;
cp For each head of sheep or goats - two
thousand (2,000) square feeto

(B} The following uses subject to securing a use
permit in each case:
1. Duplex dwellings and multiple-family dwellings.
2. Golf courses, country clubs, if permitted,
would permit accessory uses such as driving range, pro
shop, cocktail bar, restaurant.
3. Public and quasi--public uses including churches,
firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools
and public uta7ity districts.
4. Commercial poultry farming and livestock
farming.
5. Veterinary clinics, outpatient.
6. Nurseries and plant gardens.
7. Sales tract office.
(C} The provisions of Section 24-33 shall apply.
SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not
specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited.
SECTION 4o In compliance with the provisions of said
Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by

SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the
zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in
the Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall from and
after its effective date became a supplement to and part of the
~~Butte County Code, Chapter 24e

SECTION 6e This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby
declared tn. be in full force and effect from and after thirty (~0)
days after the date of its passage, anal before the expiration of
fifteen (l5) days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be
published once with the names of the members of the Board of
Super-crisors voting for and against it in' the Oroville Mercury
Register, a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of
California.

County of Butte, State of California, on the 14th day of
