WHEREAS, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health regt,uires authorization from the Butte County
Board of Supervisors to enter into the State Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) Substance Use Disorder
Agreement for fiscal years 2017-18 through 2019-20; and
WHEREAS, DHCS requires the Butte County Board of Supervisors to authorize Joel Chain, Assistant
Director, Butte County Behavioral Health to sign the agreement and all amendments for FY 2017-18 through FY
2019-20.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Department of Behavioral Health is authorized
by the Board of Supervisors to accept this agreement with the State Department of Health Care Services for a
multi-year total of $13,156,832 and to accept above described provisions of this agreement.
PASSED ANIS ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 26' day of February, 2019, by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Lucero, Ritter, Teeter, and Chair Lambert
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
