existence, or threatened existence of local emergency when said County is affected, or likely to he affected, by local
emergency and the Board mfSupervisors isnot imsession; and
WHEREAS, on February 14 through February 28, 2019, severe storms oWrai|n, wind and snow, known as the February
2819Storms, hit inand around the County ofButte; and
WHEREAS, the February 2019 storms lead to the evacuation of residents and major damage to roads and other critical
infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, on February 28, 2019, Butte County Chief Administrative Officer Shari McCracken, proclaimed a Local
EmergemcV|nBm%teCounty,vvhichdeciorationvvosretifiedbythe8oardofSupen/isorson March S,3O19.
NOW THEREFORE, 0E|T RESOLVED that the Proclamation ofLocal Emergency imButte County due to the February 2O19
Storms shall bedeemed tocontinue 1uexist until its termination,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte GountyBoard of Supervisors this 26thday of Mairch,2019, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Lucero,Ritter, Teeter, and Chair Lambert
