HomeMy WebLinkAbout19-039RESOLUTION PARTIALLY REPEALING RESOLUTION NO.. 19-017
WHEREAS, the Beard of Supervisors adopted Resolution 19-017 on January 29, 2019. The resolution increased
13 fees in the Neal Road Recycling and Waste Facility by 4.87% based on the Employment Cost Index; and
WHEREAS, the Employment Cost Index should not have been applied to these 13 fees, pursuant to Butte County
Code Section 3-70b, because the Board of Supervisors shall establish gate fees charged at Neal Road Recycling and Waste
Facility after considering the results of an annual cost analysis study; and
WHEREAS, the County strives to increase and maintain clarity, consistency, and transparency of the fee process;
M
WHIEREAS, the Public Works Department requests to return the 13 fees in their Neal Road Recycling and Waste
Facility to the fees listed in the Master Fee Schedule effective April 27, 20,18, by repealing the increase to the 13 fees
applied through the Employment Cost Index.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby partially repeals
Resolution 1.9-017 to repeal the increase to 1.3 fees based on the Employment Cost Index as delineated in Exhibit A, and
amends the Butte County Master Fee Schedule to reflect the changes. All remaining terms and conditions of Resolution
