RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CHANGE (IMPREST CASH) FUND FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 29320 et. seq. provides for the establishment of a Change
(Imprest Cash) Fund in amounts to be determined and approved by the Board of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 12-064 on June 12, 2012 establishing a Change
(Imprest Cash) Fund for the Department of Behavioral Health in the amount of $1,000 divided amongst ten office locations
at $100 each; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Behavioral Health sustained a loss of $100 as a result of the Camp Fire occurring on
November 8, 2018; and
WHEREAS, both the Director of Behavioral Health and the Auditor Controller recommend amending the Change
(Imprest Cash) Fund to $900 until aiddlitionail need is identified; and
WHEREAS, Board of Supervisor adoption is required to ensure compliance with California Government Code
Section 29320 et. seq. and certified copies of this resolution shall be transmitted to the County Auditor and County
Treasurer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby authorizes a reduction to
the Department of Behavioral Health Imprest Cash Fund in the amount of $100 bringing the Fund Balance to $900.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 9th day of April, 2019, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Lucero, Ritter, Teeter, and Chair Lambert
