STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES
AND
BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
CRISIS COUNSELING ASSISTANCE AND TRAINING PROGRAM (CCP) GRANT

WHEREAS, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health (BCDBH) requires authorization from the Butte County
Board of Supervisors to enter into the State Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) Crisis Counseling Assistance and
Training Program (CCP) Grant agreement for FY 2018-19; and
WHEREAS, Butte County was severely impacted in 2018 by the Camp Fire; and
WHEREAS, DHICS has contracted with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for disaster relief funding
under the authority of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Assistance Act of 1976 (Stafford Act) in order to provide
support to disaster affected counties; and
WHEREAS, DHCS shall provide funding to Butte County through BCDBH for the CCP; and
WHEREAS, DHCS requires the Butte County Board of Supervisors to authorize the CCP agreement for FY 2018-19.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby authorizes BCDBH to enter
into an agreement with DHCS for a total of $82.4,763.65 and to accept the above described provisions of this agreement.

AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Lucero, Ritter, Teeter, and Chair Lambert
