THE BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, Alicia Hartman, Employment Case Manager, Senior with the Department of Employment and Social
Services (DESS), has announced her retirement effective April 4, 2019; and
WHEREAS, Alicia began her career with the County of Butte on June 2, 1997 as a Social Worker later transitioning
to Employment Case Manager and moving up the career ladder to her current responsible position as an Employment
Case Manager, Senior since December 7, 2002; and
WHEREAS, Alicia has devoted her career to improving the lives of children, families, and seniors and has taken
great pride in her job as a public servant, conducting herself with the highest level of integrity and responsibility; and
WHEREAS, Alicia has dedicated herself to providing excellent customer service, assuring that people in our
community were served in a caring and professional manner; and
WHEREAS, Alicia has worked diligently for the past twenty-two years in the best interest of Butte County and its
citizens, earning the respect of her supervisors, peers, and the many families she served over the years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board, on its own behalf and on behalf of the citizens of Butte County,
extends its appreciation for her many years of dedicated service.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 91h day of April, 2019, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Lucero, Ritter, Teeter, and Chair Lambert
NOES: None
