RESOLUTION DESIGNATING BUTTE COUNTY AS THE ADMINISTRATIVE ENTITY FOR
THE CALIFORNIA EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS AND HOUSING PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the State of California (the "State"), Department of Housing and Community Development
("Department") issued a Notice of Funding AvaUabi|ity("NUFA") dated August 15, 2O18under the California Emergency
Solutions and Housing (CESH) Program; (Programn,orCESHProgram); and
WHEREAS, Butte County is, an Administrative Entity designated by the Continuum of Care to administer California
Emergency Solutions and Housing Program funds; and
WHEREAS, the Department may approve funding a:|locatimns for the CESH Program, subject to the terms and
conditions of the NOPA, Program requirements, and the Standard Agreement and other contracts between the
Department and CESH grant recipients.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors asfollows:
1. If Butte County receives a grant of CESH funds from the Department pursuant to the above referenced CESH
NOFA, it represents and certifies that it will use all such funds in a manner consistent and in compliance with
all applicable state and federal statutes, rules, regulations, and laws, including without limitation all rules and
laws regarding the CE3H Program, as well as any and all contracts Butte County may have with the
Department.
2. Butte County is hereby authorized and directed to receive a CESH grant, in an annmunt not to exceed
$2^800,000 in accordance with all applicable rules and laws while acknowledging that the current allocation
is $1,802,650.
3. Butte County hereby agrees to use the CESHfunds for eligible activities as approved by the Department and
imaccordance with all Program requirements, and other rules, and laws, aswell asinamamnerconsistent and
in compliance with the Staindard Agreement and other contracts between Butte County and the Department.
4. Butte County Director of the Department of Employment and Social Services or Butte County Director ofthe
Department ofBehavioral Health urthe Chief Administrative Officer are authorized toexecute the Standard
Agreement and any subsequent amendments or modificationis thereto, as well as any other documents which
are related to the Program or the CESH grant awarded to Butte County, as the Department may deem
appropriate.
5. This resolution shall rescind and replace Resolution No. 18-150.
