The fire covered approximately 155,O00acres, burned nearly 19,O�00homes, businesses, orother structures inthe Town of Paradise, and the unincorporated communities mfParadise Pines, K4agaUa, [omcovv, Yankee Hill, Pu[ga, Butte [reek Canyon, Butte Valley and surrounding areas, and displaced nearly 52,Q0DButte, County residents; and WHEREAS, mutual aid personnel from various agencies throughout the State and from across the nation, provided immediate action and support by engaging with Butte County's Office of Emergency Management, and many of which continue toprovide post -disaster assistance &osupport tothe County for recovery efforts; and WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors recognize The brave and tireless efforts of individuals who contributed skNUs° knowledge, time, and energy to the County of Butte, among whom were first responders from numerous agencies and jurisdictions from across the nation who worked to ensure the aefeb/ of the residents of the County of Butte; mutual aid perso�nne| from surrounding counties and oommmm|dea who worked long shifts to provide staffing inthe Emergency Operations Center, including tended &mthe animals rescued from the Camp Fire. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte Couinty Board of Supervisors hereby recognizes aind commends the sem/ices provided by YoVo County during the Camp Fine, and for those efforts that continue to be extended to the County ofButte during the Camp Fire recovery efforts.
