WHEREAS, Debbie Mueller Employment Services Supervisor, of the Department of Employment and Social
Services (DESS), has announced her retirement effective April 18, 2019; and
WHEREAS, Debbie began her career with the County of Butte and DESS in June 1987, as an Eligibility Worker,
promoting to Social Worker in February 1990, then to Social Worker Supervisor in July 1997. Debbie promoted to, her
current position as an Employment Services Supervisor in August of 2000; and
WHEREAS, having served the majority of her employment in the Employment andl Eligibility division in various
capacities, Debbie has proven to be extremely hardworking and willing to take on any assignment; and
WHEREAS, Debbie has devoted her career to improving the lives of children, families and seniors and has taken
great pride in her job as a public servant, conducting herself with the highest level of integrity and responsibility; and
WHEREAS, Debbie has dedicated herself to providing excellent customer service, assuring that people in our
community were served in a caring and professional manner; and
WHEREAS, Debbie has worked diligently in the best interest of Butte County and its citizens, earning the respect
of her supervisors, her peers and the many community members she has served over the years; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board, on its own behalf and on behalf of the citizens of Butte County,
extends its appreciation for your many years of dedicated service.
