HomeMy WebLinkAbout19-208SOLUTIONS AND HOUSING PROGRAM Resolution No. 19-208 WHEREAS the State of California (the "State"), Department of Housing and Community Development ("Department") issued a Notice of Funding Avai|abiUty("NC}FA°) dated April 8, 2019, under the California Emergency Solutions and Housing (CE5H) Program (Programm,orCESHPmogrann);and WHEREAS Butte County isanAdministrative Entity designated bvtheContimummnmf Care tVadminister California Emergency Solutions and Housing Program funds; and WHEREAS the Department may approve funding allocations for the [ESN Program, subject bzthe terms and conditions of the NOF4, Program requirements, and the Standard Agreement and other contracts between the Department and CESHgrant recipients. vote: N:O�WTHEREFORE BEDRESOLVED bythe Butte County Board of Supervisors asfollows: 1. If Butte County receives a grant nfCESH funds from the Department pursuant to the above referenced CESH NOFA, it represents and certifies that it will use all such funds in a manner consistent and in compliance with all applicable state and federal statutes, rules, regulations, and laws, including without limitation all rules and laws regarding the CE5H Program, as well as any and all contracts Butte County may have with the Department. 2. Butte County is hereby authorized and directed to receive a CESH grant, in an amount not to exceed $1,000,0010 in accordance with all applicable rules and laws while acknowledging that the current allocation is $565,151. 3. Butte County hereby agrees to use the CESH funds for eligible activities as approved by the Department and imaocomdmncewuitheUPnmgnsmmrequirernents,andotherru|esamd|mvws,asm/eU|�sinarnannercmnsistemtand in compliance with the Standard Agreement and other contracts between Butte County and the Department. 4. Butte County Director of the Department of Employment and Social Services or Butte County Director of the Department of Behavioral Health or the Chief Administrative Officer are authorized to execute the Standard Agreement and any subsequent amendments or modifications thereto, as well as any other documents which are related to the Program or the CESH grant awarded to Butte Cummt% as the Department may deem aippmmpriate.
