ofconsidering ebudget for the fiscal year 2O19-2OZ8;and
WHEREAS, said hearing wascomc|mdedmm]une25,2O19,inihe8mardofSupervisnrsChambersindhe8mtteComnty
Administration Building, Oroville, California; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Administrative Officer has submitted a written compilation of the modifications to the
Recommended Budget which were approved by the Board of Supervisors during the hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, that
the Recommended Budget, as modified by the amendments set forth in Schedule A, is hereby adopted asthe budget for
the County of Butte for fiscal year 2019-2U3D;and
8E0[FURTHER RESOLVED that ifthe General Fund batumceavailable exceeds $11,800008 the Auditor -Controller
is hereby authorized to increase the General Fund Appropriations for Contingencies by the additional amount, but if
General Fund balance available is less than $11,880,000 any shortfall will be addressed by reducing General Fund
Contingencies, and any shortfall greater than the General Fund Contingencies amount will beaddressed byreducing the
General FumdReserve; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Auditor -Controller is hereby authorized to adjust the Appropriations for
Contingencies and reserves in each fund as necessary to balance the Ymmd and the budget due to differences from
estimated tqactual fund balance, subject tnreview and approval bvthe Chief Administrative Officer; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Auditor-ComtpV||er is hereby requested to report aN adjustments to
appropriations needed to balance any fund to the Board of Supervisors no later than September 30, 2019,
