AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO AND AMENDING
CHAPTER 20 OF THE BUTTE COUNTY CODE
1 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
_ 2 . of California, ,DO_ _ORDAIN as. follows ; _..
Section 1. Section 20-6$ of the Butte County Code is
,~ ereby amended to read as follows:
~ §20-68. Extension of time. The Advisory Agency may
8 extend its approval far an additional l2 months, if
~ the approval for extension of time is granted, for good
~ cause, prior to the original expiration date. At the
~ end of that year, the subdivider may apply for an
10 additional extension not to exceed 12 months.
11 A. An application for extension of time sha11 be
12 reviewed by the Advisory Agency, which will
•13 determine whether the map presently conforms
14 to the requirements of a tentative subdivision map.
15 B. The Advisory Agency may approve an extension of
lg time, approve with conditions which cause the map
17 to conform to present requirements, or disapprove.
lg C. The decision of the Advisory Agency to disapprove
lg an extension of time may be appealed to the Board
20 of Supervisors pursuant to §20--66.
. 21 D. Tn the event that an approved tentative map is
22 revised and subsequently approved by the Advisory
23 Agency, the most recently approved tentative map
24 shall constitute the only recognized tentative
2:5 map for further action in consideration of filing
26 of the map.
1 Section 2. Section 20--120 of the Butte Gounty Cade is
2 hereby amended to read as follows:
g §20-120: Compliance required. To ihstire fhat .pro-
4 posed subdivisions are developed in the best
5 interest of the people of Butte County, land
g subdivided under the provisions of this chapter
q shall conform to the design standards of this
g chapter and to any standards and specifications
g for construction and materials adopted by
10 resolution of the board of supervisors.
11 Subdivisions shall be reviewed far proper grading
12 and erosion control, including the prevention of
13 sedimentation or damage to offsite property.
14 Section 3. This ordinance shall be and it is hereby
15 declared to be in full farce and effect from and after thirty
lg (30) days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration
lq of fifteen (15) days after its passage, this ordinance shall be
lg published once with the names of the members of the Board of
19 Supervisors voting for and against it in the Chico Enterprise
20 Record a newspaper published in the
21 Gounty of Butte, State of California.
