HomeMy WebLinkAbout19-220WHEREAS, Butte County Code Section 2.1 provides that the Board of Supervisors may, by resolution, specify those
hours during which individual departments, will be open to the public; and
WHEREAS, the Paradise Branch Library has been closed: since the start of the Camp Fire November 8, 2018; and
WHEREAS, the County Library has made adjustments in open hours as a result of the devastating Camp Fire; and
WHEREAS, the Paradise Branch Library open hours are changed to meet the need for services at this time. The
Paradise Branch will open as soon as it is determined to be safe for the public; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby recognize the Paradise
Branch of the Butte County Library Hours as follows, effective August 1, 2019:
Thursday 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Saturday 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Super -visors this 28"d day of July, 2019, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Ritter, Teeter, and Chair Lambert
NOES:
ABSENT: Supervisor Lucero
