HomeMy WebLinkAbout19-221WHEREAS, the, Board of Supervisors ufthe County ofButte had determined that for the efficient operations of
the Sheriff's Office, the Revolving Fund was necessary; and
WHEREAS, California Government Code section 29430 et seq. provides for the establishment ofsuch revolving
funds in amounts to be determined by the Board of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte adopted Resolution No. 92-118 on September 1, 1992,
establishing a Special Investigative Fund at an amount of $5,000; and
WHEREAS, an analysis of the Revolving Fund by the Butte County Sheriff -Coroner's Office has determined that
the fund is no longer needed for County business.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE|TRESOLVED that the Butte County Board ofSupervisors hereby directs the following:
1. That it is determined to be a necessity for the termination of the Special Investigative Fund;
2. Thatthls resolution rescinds Resolution No. 92-I18;
3. That this Fund was established and is being discontinued in accordance with Government Code section 29430
et seq., and that the Clerk of the Board shall submit certified copies of the resolution to the Auditor and
Treasurer -Col ector;
4. That the Sheriff -Coroner of the County of Butte is hereby directed to close the Special Investigative Fund and
deposit the balance with the County Treasurer in favor of the Butte County General Fund for the, purpose of
terminating the Special Investigative Fund.
