WHEREAS, Steven Rodowick began his career with the County of Butte in 2003 as Recycling Coordinator teaching
mchmn| children the importance of recycling, doing outreach to instruct County citizens on the importance of Recycling,
Reusing, Reducing and Composting, holding Tire Amnesty days annually, and working to reduce illegal dumping; and
WHEREAS, Steven Rodowick has earned the respect of fellow emp'loyees, supervisors, the public, and others
involved |nPublic Works activities inButte County and has diligently served the residents of the County of Butte for sixteen
(16) years with extraordinary distinction and leadership; and
WHEREAS, Steven Rodowick has served the Town of Paradise in the Paradise Recreation and Park District, working
tirelessly for the residents ofParadise. Steven is currently rebuilding his home in the Town of Paradise that was lost to
the Camp Fire in 2018. He plans to oversee the construction process enjoy his granddaughter, and the fact that in
retirement he can relax knowing he won't have to worry about home improvements for at least a decade; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors �herebv wishes to express to
Steven Rodowick sincere appreciation for his many years of unselfish dedication and outstanding service rendered tothe
residents ufthe County ofButte; and further wish him well onhis retirement.
