HomeMy WebLinkAbout19-234RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHAIR AND DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH INTERIM DIRECTOR TO SIGN AGREEMENT AMENDMENT BETWEEN STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES AND BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CRISIS COUNSELING ASSISTANCE AND TRAINING PROGRAM (CCP) GRANT WHEREAS, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health (BCDBH) requires authorization from the butte County Board of Supervisors to amend the State Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) Crisis Counseling Assistance and Training Program (CCP) Grant agreement for FY 2018-19 — FY 2019-20; and WHEREAS, Butte County was severely impacted in 2018 by the Camp Fire; and WHEREAS, DHCS has contracted with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for disaster relief funding under the authority of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relieve and Assistance Act of 1976 (Stafford Act) in order to provide support to disaster affected counties; and WHEREAS, DHCS shall provide funding to Butte County through BCDBH for the CCP; and WHEREAS, DHCS requires the Butte County Board of Supervisors to authorize Scott Kennelly, Interim Director, Butte County Behavioral Health to sign the agreement and all amendments for FY 2018-19 through FY 2019-2.0; and WHEREAS, DHCS requires the Butte County Board of Supervisors to authorize the CCP agreement for FY 2018 -191 - FY 2019-20; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby authorizes BCDBH to amend the agreement with DHCS for a total of $2,525,521.64 and to accept the above described provisions of this agreement. vote: PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 271' day of August, 2019, by the following AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Lucero, Ritter, Teeter, and Chair (Lambert NOES: ABSENT:�✓'' NOT VOTING: Steve Lambe air ATTEST: Butte County Board of Supervisors Shari McCracken, Chief Administrative Officer and Clerk of the Board of Supervisors Deputy
