The:hereinafter described area situated in the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned as a~"A-10" {Agricultural} District, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided. Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated area of Butte County, Chaco, mare particularly described as follows: The S 1/2 of the SE 1/4, and the E 1/2 of the E 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Sec. 12, T23N, R1W, MDB&M. All of Sec. 13, T23N, R1W, MDB&M, excepting there- from the S 1/2 of the SE 1/4 and the N 1/2 of the S 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of said Sec. 13. The SE 1/4 of Sec. 7, T23N, RIE, MDB&M. The N 1/2 of Sec. 18, T23N, RIE, MDB&M. SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR AN '"A-10't DISTRICT The following regulations shall apply in an "A-10" Il District: (A) USES PERMITTED: 1. One single-family dwelling per parcel, including mobile homes. 2. General agriculture far~n.ing, horticulture, comm.erci livestock, p~a~ltry production, growing and harvesting forestry products, warehousing and storage. i 1 - 3. Accessory buildings and uses pertinent to the 2 permitted uses, including agricultural processing plants. 3 4. Housing facilities (including trailers} to accommodat 4 only employees and their families employed by the owner 5 or operator of the premises; and provided further that 6 such housing facility shall be considered accessory to 7 the main building and shall conform to the provisions 8 pertaining to required yard and open space for dwellings. 9 5. Mining, quarrying, commercial excavation and wood ZO processing plants. l~. 6. Hunting and fishing camps, including those which 12 accommodate recreational vehicles and travel trailers, 13 providing that said recreational vehicles and travel 14 trailers shall not be used for year-ro-and occupancy. 15 (B) MINIMUM ZOT AREA REQUIRED: ~6 Minimum lot area shall:•~uot be less than ten `{10) 17 acres. 18 (C) FRONT YARD SETBACK 19 Minimum front yard setback shall be fifty (50} feet 20 from the centerline of the ra~ad, except there the road 2Z is classified by the County' as a Federal Aid Secondary 22 Road, the minimum bui~.ding setback requirements shall be 23 fifty-five C55) feet from the centerline of the road. 24 {D} SIDE AND REAR YARD REQUIRED: 2S Minimum side and rear yard shall not be less than 26 ten (10) feet. -2- 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 ].1 12 13 7.4 15 16 17 18 is 20 2~. 22 23 24 2S 26 SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited. SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by adding this Ordinance in full. SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this ordinance shall from and ~~,after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the Butte County Code, Chapter 24. SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby declared to be a.n full force and effect from a~.d after thirty -(30) days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be published once with the names of the membors of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against it .in the Chico Enterprise Record, a newspaper published a.n the County of Butte, State of California .
