OF BUTTE., STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "AR-MH"
{AGRICULTURAL RESIDENTIAL - MOBILE HOME)
DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 24-29.

The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, under and pursuant to Chapter 24-29 of the Butte
County Code of said County DO ORDAIN as (allows:
SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in
the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is
hereby zoned as an."AR-MH" {Agricultural Residential -- Mobile
Home) District, and~such area shall be subject to the restrictions
and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and
provided.
Saad area so zoned being located in the unincorporated
area of Butte County,~_~Oroville, more particu~ly described as
follows:
The Southerly 333 ft. of Lot 3 of Block 16
of "Villa Verona" Sub. per Map of Record on
Wall Map No. 12 of the Butte County Recorder
and the southerly 132 ft. of Lot 4 of Block
16 of said ]'Villa Verona" Sub. , excepting
therefrom that portion located within the
following described parcel;
Beginning at an iron stake ix~ the
center lane of the Oroville and
Bangor Highway fram which the south-
east corner of Black numbered 16 or
abgve mentioned Villa Verona bears S
68 06' 24" E a distance of 1011.53 ft.
thence along the centerline of said
highway on~a curve to the left having a
radius of 2000 ft. , the long chord of
which bears N 37° 50' 05" W a distance
of 253.36 ft.; thence on a tangent to
said last mentioned torus bearing N
41° 28' W a distance of 54.E-6 ft. ;
thence leaving said highway N 48° 32' E
a distance of 545.77 ft.; thence S 44°
43' E a distance of 234.00 ft. ; thence
S 49° 05' W a distance of 425.77 ft.;
thence S 20° 56' W a distance of 167.98
ft. to the point of beginning.
1 Containing 2.5 acres, more or less.
2 SECTION 2. REGTJT~ATIONS FOR AN "AR-MH" DISTRICT
3 The following regulations shall apply~in an "AR-MH"
4 District:
5 {A) USES PERMITTED
6 1. One single-family dwelling per parcel.
7 2. Mobile Home to house one family, when such
8 mobile home is the only housing facility located on
9 the premises, provided the following conditions are
ld conformed to:
13. a. The gross area of the mobile home shall nit
12 be less than 500 square feet;
13 3. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted
],4 uses.
1~ 4. Agricultural uses, except livestock, subject to
16 requirements as follows:
17 In addition to the minimum. square footage
18 required to be devoted to residential use the following
19 minimum lot or parcel areas shah. be required for each
2D animal raised or kept on the premises:
21 a. For each horse or head of cattle over one
22 (1) year of age--eight thousand one hundred
23 twenty-five (8,1.25) square feet.
24 b. For each head of swine over ten (10) weeks
2S of age--eight thousand one hundred twenty-five
26 (8,125) square feet.

c. For each head of sheep or goats--two
thousand (2,000) square feet.
(B) THE FOLLOWING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PERMIT
IN EACH CASE
1. Duplex dwellings and multiple-family dwellings.
2. Golf courses, country clubs, if permitted,
would permit accessory uses such as driving range, pra
shop, cocktail bar, restaurant.
3. Public and quasi-public uses including churches,
firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgroun.ds,schaols and
public utility districts.
4. Commercial poultry farming and livestock farming.
5. Veterinary Clinics, outpatient.
6. Nurseries and plant gardens.
'~. Sales tract office.
(C} THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 24--33 SHALL APPLY.
SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not
specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited.
SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said
Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by
adding this Ordinance in full.
SECTION 3. The penalties for the violation of the
zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in
the Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall from and
after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the
Butte County Code, Chapter 24.

SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby
declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty C30)
days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
fifteen (15) days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be
published once with the names of the members of the Board of
Supervisors voting far and against it in the Oroville Mercury
Register, a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of
Calif ornia.
PASSED .AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of Californi n 30th day of May,,. 19'8,
by the following vote:
