BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "AR-MH" (AGRI--
CULTURAL RESIDENTIAL - MOBILE HOME) ~7ISTRICT,
PURSUANT TD CHAPTER 2G--29.

The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of Calif ornia, under and pursuant to Chapter 24--29 of the Butte
County Code of said County DO ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in
the Counter of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby
zoned as an "AR-MH" (Agricultural Residential-Mobile Home) District
'~ and such area shall. be subject to the restrictions and restricted
uses and regtzl~tions hereinafter specified and provided.
Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated
area of Butte County, Oroville, more particularly described as
follows:
That portion of the N 1/2 of Yolo ,Ave. as shown
on Map of Record, Wall Maps No. 4 and 6 of
"Thermalito" Sub of the Butte County Recorder
located west of and w~.thin 100 ft. of the west
right-of-way line of 7th Street.
That portion of the S 1/2 of Yala A-ve. , as ~ra.own
on Map of Record, Wall Map No.'s 4 and ~ of
"Thermalito" Sub of the Butte County Recorder
located west of and within 275 ft. of the west
right-of-way line of 7th Street.
The southerly 57 ft. of Lots 2'1 and 22 of Black
50 of "Thermalito Sub per Map of Record on Wall
Map No.'s 4 and 6 of the Butte County Recorder.'
Containing 0.48 acres, more ar less, Oroville.
SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR AN "AR-MH" DISTRICT
The following regulations shall apply~i~i an "AR-MH"
II District
(A) USES PERMITTED:
1. One single-family dwelling per parcel.

2. Mobile Home to house one family, when such
mobile home is the only housing facility located on the
premises, provided the following conditions are conformed
to:
a. The gross area of the mobile home shall not
be less than 500 square feet.
3. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted
uses.
4. Agricultural uses, except livestock, subject to
requirements as follows:
In addition to the m~;nimum square footage
required to be devoted to resa.dential use the following
minimum lot or parcel areas shall be required for each
animal raised or kept on the premises:
a. For each horse ~ head of cattle over one (1)
yeas of age-~-eight thousand one hundred twenty'-
five (8,125} square feet.
b. For each head of swine over twn (10) weeks
of age--eight thousand one hundred twenty--five
{8,125) square feet.
c. For each head of sheep or goats--two thousand
(2,000) square feet.
(B) THE FOLLOWING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A UaE PERMIT
TN EACH CASE:
1. Duplex dwellings and multiple-family dwellings.

2. Golf courses, country clubs, if permitted,
would permit accessory uses such as driving range, pro
shop, cocktail bar, restaurant.
3. Public and quasi-public uses including churches,
firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools
and public utility districts.
4. Commercial .poultry farming and livestock farming.
5. Veterinary clinics, outpatient.
6. Nurseries and plant gardens.
~. Sales tract office.
{C) T~ P:~OVISIONS OF SECTION 24-33 SHALL APPLY.
SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not
specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited.
SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said
'Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the sa~€e is hereby amended by
adding this Ordinance in full.
SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the
zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in
the Butte Counter Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall from and
after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the
Butte County Code, Chapter 24.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby
declared to be in full force and effect from and after th~.rty
{30} days after the date of its passage, this Ordinance shall be
published once with the names of the members of the Board of
Supervisors voting for and against it in the Oroville Mercury

Calif ornia.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, on the 34th day of May,
1975, by the fallowing vote:
