HomeMy WebLinkAbout1931ORDINANCE N0. 1'331 AN INTERIM ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "R-MH" (RESIDENTIAL MOBILE HOME) DISTRICT 1 2 3 4 5 6 7' 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 2Z 22 23 24 25 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, under and pursuant to Chapter 24.30 of the Butte County Code, and declaring an emergency, DO ORDAIN as follows: SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned as an "R-MH" (Residential-Mobile Home) District far a period of 120 ~~~ ~ , anal such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations here~.nafter specified and provided. Said area so zoned being located in Paradise, more particularly described as follows: All of "Sierra Del Oro Estates" per Map of Record in Map Book 30 on Pages 47, 48 and 49 of the Butte County Recorder. All of "Sierra Del Oro Estates Na. 2" per Map of Record in Map Book 34 on Pages 27, 28 and 29 of the Butte County Recorder. All of "Sierra Del Oro Unit No. 30' per Map of Record in Map Book 35 on Pages 27, 28 and 29 of the Butte County Retarder. All of "Sierra Del Oro Unit No, 4" per Map of Record in Map Book 35 on Pages 48, ~=9 and 50 of the Butte County Recorder. Containing 130 acres, more or less, north of Paradise. SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR AN "R-MH" DISTRICT: The following regulations shall apply in an "R-M~!I" I! District: {A) USES PERMITTED; 1. One single-family mobile home. 26 1 2. The floor area within the mobile home shall not 2 be less than five hundred (~00) square feet. g 3. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted 4 uses. 5 4. Household pets, but not including livestock, g poultry or poisonous reptiles. q (B) THE FOLLOWING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PERMIT g IN EACH CASE: g 1. Golf Courses and country clubs. ~p 2. Public and quasi-public uses including churches, Z1 firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools 12 and public utility buildings. 13 3. Sales tract office. 14 (C) THE PROVISIONS OF SECT TON 24-33 SHALL APPLY. 15 SECTION ~. All uses of land within the district not 16 specifically' authorized and permitted are prohibited. ~7 SECTION 4. In compliance with the prova..sions of said 18 Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by 19 adding this Ordinance in full. 20 SECTION 5. This urgency ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage shall be published once with the names of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against the same in the Paradise Post, a newspaper in general circulation ira. the .Caunt~y of Butte, State of California. The fact constituting the urgency on which this Ordinance is based is: 1. That it is zn the interest of the public health and safety, and the public welfare would require it to preserve the integrity of the zone while being processed.
