of California, under and pursuant to Chapter 24-2S of the 3utte
Cou:Ezty Code o-f_ said County DO ORDAIN as follows
SECTION 1. The ]~ereinaftor described area situated i~z
the Count)r of Butte, State of California, sha11 be and it is
hereby zo~ied as a "TP~~I-2" (Timber Mountain) District, and such
area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses
and regulations hereinafter specified and provided.
Said. area so zoned Ueing located in the incorporated
area. of Butte County, Chico, r~iore particularly described as
follows:
All that portion of Lots 1 and 2 of the ~lartheast
quarter of Section 4 in Township 23 north, range 2

Beginning at a point in the centerline of Cl~.ico-
Cohasset Road from which point the southwest corner
of Section 3 To~mship 23 l/2 north, range 2 east

SECTION Z . REGI7LATIONS FdR A "TM-2't DISTRICT :
The folloi~ring regulations shah. apply in a "T1~I-2 T1
District.
(A) USES DERPt4TTTED:
1. dne single-family dwelling per parcel, including
mobile home .
2 , i~~tanagement, raising, harvesting and. removal of
trees, shrubs, seedlings, f1a~,Ters, herbs and all
food crops for human or ai~.imal consumption .
3. I:eeping and raising small aa~iimals for domestic use,
including dogs, cats and hosehold pets, poultry anc~
other i~irds, bees, fish and frogs.
4. Keepiaag, raising and pasturing of cattle, s~.orses,
sheep, goats, hogs or other livestock, provided
that no more than two (2) such animals be kept `'pex
acre on parcels of less than five (5) acres and no
more than four (~_) such animals be kept per acxe on
parcels of five (5) acres or more.

11. Private ar commercial outdoox recreation facilities
on sites of not less than five {5) acres, including
country clubs, golf courses, riding academies and
stables, hunting and fishing camps and other clubs,
and gun clubs and ranges .

adding this Ordina.~~.ce in full.
SECTION 5. The pen aloes fox the violation of the
zoning hereby imposed within the district sha11 be as provided in
the Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall from and
after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the
Bute County Code, Chapter 24.
SEGTxOi~1 6. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby
declared to be in fu11 force and effect from and after thirty (30)
;days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
fifteen {l 5} days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be
published once with the names of the members of the Board of
Supervisors voting for and against it in the Ghico Enterpr~.se
Record , a newspaper published a.n the County of Butte,
State of California.
