The assembly and storage of goods, materials, liquids and equipment (except the storage of in - flammable matter or explosives or materials which create dust, odors or fumes). ~' 3. Peed storehouses and warehouses and fuel yards. 4. The manufacturing, processing, fabricating, assembl - ing, refining, repairing, packaging and treatment of goods, materials and pxoducts by power (oil, gas or electric), including, by way of example and illus- tration, but not limited to the manufacuuring, fab- rication and assembling of bathroom showex and patio partitions, enclosures and doors, windows and stare fronts of aluminum, plastic and fiberglass, or other suitable material and the processing, finishing, polishing and anodizing of aluminum extrusions and castings, assaying, broom and brush manufacturing, die casting, dog pounds, draying, freighting or txucking yard or terminals, heavy equipment rental or sale-, heating and ventilating service shops, jewelry manufacturing, lamp shade manufacturing, lumber yards, packagi~.g plants, public utility service yard, truck repairing and overhauling and welding shops. 5. Any use permitted in C-~. and C-Z zones. {B) THE FOLLOWING USES SUBJECT TO THE SECURING OE A USE PERP.~TT TN EACH CASE 1. Any residential. use 2. Storage of inflammables 3. R'lanufacturing of acids, explosives, fertilizer, glue, gypsum, lime, plaster of paris, pulp and paper, beet sugar, crushed rock, sand and gravel, cement, con- crete and/or asphalt hatching plants, cancrete and clay products. 4. Industrial uses E~~hich might be ahjectianahle by reason of emission of noise, offensive odor, smoke, dust, bright light, vibratian or involving the handl- ing of explosives ar dangerous materials. 5. Junk yards and auto wrecking yards. (C) The requirements of Section 24-33 of this code are modified for all building sites in ~-1 zones in the following particulars: 1. Truck Loading and Unloading Space: Private off-street loading space far the handling of all goods, materials and equipment shall be provided. Such space shall be of sufficient area and of such design as to permit the parking and load- ing of vehicles t~*ithout extending into any existing street .beyond the curb line. S . A11 uses of land within the district not specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited. SECTION 4. In compliance with the pxavisions of said Butte County Cade, Chaptex 24, .the same is hereby .amended by adding this Ordinance in full. SECTION S. SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15} days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be published once with the names of the members of tl~e Board of Supervisors voting for and against it in the Oroville Mercury, a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
