The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
if r is DO ORDAIN as follows:

Section 1. That Sectioh 24-29 of the Butte County Code
be amended by adding thereto Section 24029.1 to read as follows:
§24-29.1. Each party appearing before the Board
of Supervisors at the public hearing referred to in §24-29, is
encouraged to submit written comments before the public hearing
as well as at the public hearing itself. Oral comments shall
be limited to five (5) minutes per person, unless such time is
extended by consent of the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be and it is hereby
declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty
(30) days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration
of fifteen (15) days after its passage, this ordinance shall be
published once with the nar~.es of 'the ~n,embers of the Board of
Supervisors voting for and against it in the Qroy~.lle Mercurq
a newspaper published in the County of
Butte, State of California.
