AN ORDTNANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF
BUTTE, STATE OF CALTFORNTA, A "TP.I-20'' {TT~~IBER

SECTION 1. The lie rein after described area situated in
the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is
hereby zoned as a "Tt~i-20" (Timber ~,iountain - 20 acre parcels)
District, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and
restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided.
Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated
area of Butte County, Oroville, more particularly described as
(follows:
The south 1/2 of the southwest l/4 of tl~e
northeast Z/4 of Section 18 T23N R5E P~'IDB~?~4.
Containing ZO acres, more or less, north of Oroville.
SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR A 'T~4-ZO" DTSTRTCT:
The following regulations shall apply in a T'T~-t-20"
District.
[A) USES PERT~4TTTED:
1. On single-family di,~elling per parcel, including
mobile home.
2. ~4anagement, raising, harvesting and removal of trees,
shrubs, seedlings, flowers, herbs and all food crops
for human or animal consumption.
3. I:eeping and raising small animals for domestic use,
including dogs, cats and household pets, poultry and
other birds, bees, fish and frogs.

2. Commercial wood processing plants.

5. Animal product processing plants.
6. Mining, c~uarxying and excavating activities which
might be objectionable by reason of noise, odor,
smoke, dust, bright light, vibration, stream pollutic
or handling of explosives or dangerous materials.
7. Commercial boat ramps, docks and landing .facilities.
S. Aircraft Landing Facilities.
9. Disposal areas and sewage treatment facilities.
I0 . Public and quasi -public uses including schools , parks
playgrounds, recreational facilities, utility system
structures, meeting halls, hospitals, libraries,
museums, government offices and similar uses.
11. Private or commercial outdoor recreation facilities
on sites of not Tess than .five (5) acres, including
country clubs, golf courses, riding academies and
stables, hunting and fishing camps and other clubs,
and gun clubs and ranges .
(C) Lot Area
Minimum required area of a lot per dwelling unit
shall not be less than twenty (20) acres for "TM-2D",
(D) Lot 3Uidth required:
Minimum required lot with shall not be lass than
sixty-five (65) feet.

{E) Front Yard required
_ t~iinimum required _front building„setback shall be not
less than fifty {50) feet from the centerline of the
road, except Z•:here the road is classified by the
County as a Federal Aid Secondary Road, the minimum
required front building setback sha11 be not less
than fifty-five [55) feet from the centerline of the
road.
{F) Side Yard required:
A~inimum required side building setback shall be not
less than twenty-five [25) feet far "TM-20".
[G) Rear Yard required:
A~inimum required rear building setback shall be not
less than fifty {50) feet for "TM-20".
SECTION 3. A11 uses of land within the district not
specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited.
SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said
Butte County Cade, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by adding
this Ordinance in full.
SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the
zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in
the Butte County Cade, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall from and
after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the
Butte County Code, Chapter 24.
SECTION 6. This Oxdinance shah. be and it is hereby
declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty {30)
