AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF
BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, A "C-?" {GENERAL:
COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 24-29.
Z The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
2 of Califoz~nia, undex.and.-.pursuant ~.a Chapter 24-29 of the Butte
3 County Code of Said County DO ORTIAIN as fallows:_
4 SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in
5 the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it as
6 hereby zoned as a "C-2" (General Commercial) District, and such
7 area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses
S and regulations herein after specified and provided.
9 Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated
10 area of Butte County, Paradise, maze particularly described as:
l1 That portion commencing at the northeast corner of
said Section 14, and running along the north line
12 of said Section l4, south 89° 37' west 145.75 feet;
thence south 00° Z3' east 20 feet to a point in the
13 south boundary of Bille Road and the true point of .
beginning for the parcel of land herein described;
l4 thence from said true point of beginning, south 0°
23' east 198 feet; thence south 89° 37' west 113.13
~5 feet; thence north 193.00 feet to a point in the
south boundary of Bille Road; thence: along said
•16 south boundary north 89° 37' east 113.13 feet to the
point of beginning.

Containing 0.10 acres, more or less, Paradise.

1.9 SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR A "C-2" DTSTRTCT:
20 The following regulations shall apply in a "C-•2"
21 District.

23 1. Dwellings and dwelling groups, subject to the build-
24 ing site area, lot width and yard requirements specif•

5 cleaning and pressing establishments, dance halls,

7 governmental legislative buildings, gymnasiums, public ,
$ commercial or physical cultural studios, hospitals,
9 hotels and motels, laboxatories and x-ray facilities,
10 massage parlors and reducing salons, equipment rentals ,
11 pet shops, used car lots, repair garages, auto car
12 washes, plumbing shops, cabinet shops, sign manufact-
13 uring shops, and other retail establishments when
14 interpreted as sim~.lar.
15 4. Accessory uses and buildings pertinent to a per-
16 'miffed use.

22 None, except where the rear yard abuts an "R" District
23 in which case the rear yard sha11 be not less than
24 five (5) feet.
2g SE CTION 3. All uses of Land within the district nat
26 specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited.

1 SECTION 4. Tn compliance with the provision of said
2 Butte County Code, ..Chapter .24.,. the same is_ hereby. amended by .adding

this Ordinance in full.
4 SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning
5 hereby imposed within the district shall. be as provided in the
6 Butte County Cade, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall fxam and
7 after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the
S Butte County Code, Chapter 24.
9 SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby
10~~declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30)
1I days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
12 fifteen (I S) days after its passage, this Ordinance shall. be
13 bublished once with the names of the members of the Board of
14 Supervisors voting for and against it in the Paradise Post, a
15 newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
