BUTTE, STATE OF CAT17~t~ORNIA, A "S-R" ~SUBUFBAN
RESIDENTIAL) DIS~.'K1CT, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 24-29_
1 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
2 California, under and pursuant to Chapter 24-29 of the Butte County

g ode of -said County DO ORDAIN as follows:
4 SECTION-1a The hereinafter described area situated in the
5 County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby
6 zoned as a "S-R" (Suburban ~ Residential) 7]istrict, and such area
7 shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and
$ regulations hereinafter specified and provided.
9 Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated
10 area of Butte County, Chico, more particularly described as follows:
11 All of lot 8 "Bidwell Third Subdivision" per map
of record in Map Book ~ on Page 8 of the Butte
12 County Recorder, excepting therefrom the south-.
easterly 660 feet.
13 SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR A "S-R" DISTRICT:
The following regulations shall apply in a "S-R" District.
14 (A) USES PERMITTED:
15 1. One single-family dwelling per parcel: not including
16 tents or mobile homes. '
1'7 2. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses.
18 (B) AGRICUZTURAL USES, EXCEPT LI~TESTOCK, SUBJECT TO-THE
19 FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
20 1. Exclusive of the area devloted to the residential use,
21 the following lot or parcel areas shall be required
22 for each animal raised or kept on the premises:
23 a. For each horse or head of cattle-over one year
24 of age , anc (~_ ) acre .

b. For each head of swine aver ten weeks of age,

(C] THE FOLLOW"LING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PERrIST
TN EACH CASE
1. Public and quasi--public uses, including churches,
hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools and .public
utility buildings.
(D] The provisions of Section 24-33 shall apply.
SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not
specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited.
SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said
Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by
adding this Ordinance in full.
SECTION 5: The penalties fax the violation of the
zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in
the Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall from and
after its effective date became a supplement to and part of the
Butte County Cade, Cliap.ter Z4.
SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby
declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30]
days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
fifteen (15) days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be
publislxed once with the names of the members of the Board of
