AN ORDTNANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE
OF CALIFORNIA, AN "R-4" (MAXL'~F[Ih1 DENSITY RESIDENTIAL -
RESTRICTED SERVICE} DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 24-29.

4 SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in
~ tl~e Coufxty of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby
g zoned as an "R-4" (i~~faximum Density Residential -• Restricted Service)
7 D~.strict, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and re•
g stricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided.
g Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated
lp area of Butte County, Ch~.ca, mare particularly described as follows.
11 Beg~i~ning at the southwest corner of Lot S of "Bidwell
15th Sub" per map of record in Map Bool< 6 on Page 48 of
12 the Butte County Recorder, said point being the intexsec-
tion of the centerl~.nes of Ceres Avenue and East Avenue;
13 thence north along the centerline of Ceres Avenue 17S feet
thence east 115 feet; thence south 175 feet to a poz.nt in
14 the centerline of East Avenue; thence west along said
centerline 11S feet to the point of beginning. Containing
15 0.4G acres, more or less, Chico.
16 SECTION 2. REGULATxONS POR AN "R-4" DISTRICT:
17 The following regulations shall apply in an "R-4~" Dastric'~

26 3. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses.

4. Household pets (but not including livestock, poultry

{B) THE 1~OLLOIti'ING USES SUBJECT TO SECUR`IN;G~ A IISE PERMIT
IN EACH CASE:
1. Golf courses and country clubs.
2. Public and quasi-public uses including churches,
firehouse, hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools
and public utility buildings,.
3. Sales tract office.
(C) TIx]a PROVISIONS OF SECTION 24-33 SHALL APPLY.
SECTION 3. A11 uses of land k~ithin the district not
specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited.
SECTION 4. in compliance with the provisions of said
Butte County Code, Chapter Z4, the same is hereby amended by adding
this Ordinance in full.
SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the
zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in
the Butte County Cnde, Chapter Z4, this Ordinance shall from and
after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the
Butte County Code, Chapter Z4.
SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall. be and it is hereby
declared to be in foil force and effect from and after thirty (3D)
days after the date of its passage, anal before the expiration of
fifteen (1 S) days after its passage, this Ordinance .shall be
published once with the names of the members of the Board. of.
Supervisors voting for and against in the Chico Enterprise Record,
