AN ORDINANCE 20NING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF
BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "R-3" (MEDIUM DENSITY
RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 24-29.

4 SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in the
5 aunty of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby
6 zoned as an "R 3" (Medium Density Residential} District, and such
7 area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and
8 egulations hereinafter specified and prova.ded.
g Said area so zoned being .located in the unincorporated
~p area of Butte County, Oroville, more particularly described as folio
~,~ All of Lots ~-, 5, 6, and 7 of Block 7 of "Villa Verona"
Sub per wall map of record Nusber 12 of the Butte County
12 Recorder; the southerly 1S5 feet of the easterly 106.87
feet of Lot 1 of said Block 7; the southerly 185 feet
~3 of Lot 2 of said Block 7 and ail of Lot 3 of said Block
7 except the northerly 475 feet of the westerly 18.13
Z4 feet of said lot 3; all in said "Villa Verona" Sub,
and also all of Lots 2 and 7 of Block 8 of said "Villa
15 Verona" Sub.
16 SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR A "R•-3" DISTRICT:
17 The following regulations shall apply in a "R-~j" District.
lg (,A} USES PERMITTED:
~g 1. One-family dwellings, two-family dwellings and multi-
2p pie Family dwellings, not including tents, trailers,
21 or mobile homes.
22 2. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses.
2g 3. Household pets (but not including livestock, poultry
24 or poisonous reptiles).

(C) The provisions of Section 24-33 shall apply.
SECTION 3. A11 uses of land within the district not
specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited.
SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions o.f sa.id
Butte County Code, Chapter 24, .the same is hereby amended by adding
(this Ordinance in fu11.
SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the
zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in
the Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance .shall from anti
after its effective date become a supplement to and naxt of the
Butte Count"y Code , Chapter 24 .
SECTION G. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby
declared to be in full farce and effect from and after thirty (3~)
days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
fifteen (15) days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be
pu~rlished once with the names of the members of the Soard of
Supervisors voting far and against it iii the Oroville R~tercury, a
newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
