The hereinafter described area situated i.n 5 the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is g hereby zoned as a "M-1'T (Light Industrial) District, and such area 7 shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and re- g gulations hereinafter specified and provided. g Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated 10 area of Butte County, Oraville, more particularly described as Il follows: 12 That portion of Blocks 1 and 2 of "Villa Verona°' Sub per wall map Number 12 of the Butte County Recorder located I,3 west of the centerline of Lincoln Blvd, and east of the east line of the Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way. Z4 SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR A "M-1" DISTRICT: 15 The following regulations sha11 apply in a "I~4-1" District. (A) USES PERMITTED: 16 1. Wholesale and storage warehouses. 17 2. The assembly and storage of goods, materials, liquids 18 and equipment (except the' storage of inflammable 19 matter or explosives or materials which create dust, 20 odors ox fumes). 2I 3. Feed storehouses and warehouses and fuel yards. 22 4. The manufacturing, processing, fabricating; assemblint 23 _ refining, repairing, packaging and- treatment of goads, 24 materials and products by power (oil, gas or electric; 2g including, by way of example and illustration, but 26 not~l:imited to the manufacturing, fabrication and _ l .. ~~ ~~ i~ 1 assembling of bathroom shower and patio partitions, 2 ~. _. _. .enclasures .and doors.,. taindows. and .store fronts _.of 3 aluminum, plastic and fiberglass, ar other suitable 4 material, and the processing, finishing, polishing 5 and anodizing of aluminum extrusions and castings, 6 assaying, broom and brush manufacturing, die casting, 7 dog pounds, draying, freighting or trucking yard or S terminals, heavy equipment rental or sale, heating 9 and ventilating service shops, jewelry manufacturing,', 10 Tamp shade manufacturing, lumber yards, pack:aging 11 plants, public utility service yard, truck repairing 12 and overhauling and ~ti~elding shops . 13 5. Dyeing and rug cleaning plants, veterinary hospitals 14 and animal shelters and boarding kennels, cabinet and 15 woodworking shops, construction and material yards. 16 6. Any use permitted in C-l and C-2 zones. 17 {B) THE EOLLOJ~'I~IG USES SUBJECT TO THE SECURING A USE lg PERMIT IN EACH CASE: 19 1 . Any residential use . 20 2. Storage of inflammables. 21 ~ 3. Jun~C yards and auto tivrecking yards . (C) The requirements of Section 2~-33 of this code are modified for all building sites in I~~i-l zones in the following particulars: 1. There is no lot area minimum. nor lot i~~idth minimum except as may be xequired for the building az~d for off-street loading area and parking. 2. Side Yard: None, except where the side of a lot abuts an f,~t, District, in which case the side yard shall be nat less than five (5) feet. 3. Rear Yard: None, 'except where the rear yard abuts an "R" District in which case the rear yard shall be not less than five (5) feet . 4. Truck Loading and Unloading Space: Private off-street loading"space for the handling of all goods, materials and equipz~ent shall be provided. Such space s;~.al.1. be of Buff icient area and of such design as to permit the parking and loading of veh- isles without extending into any existing street beyond. the curb line. 5. SECTION 3. A11 uses of land within the district not specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited. SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said Butte County Cade, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by adding Ithis Ordinance in full. SECTION S. The penalties for the violation of the zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall from and after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the Butte County Code, Chaptex 24. SECTION 6.
