AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF TgIE COUNTY OF
BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "S-R" (SUBURBAN-
RESIDENTTAL) DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 24-29.

3 Code; of said County DO ORDAIN as fallokFs:
4 SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in
5 the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby
6 zoned as an "S-R°' (Suburban-Residential) District, and such area
7 shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and re-
8 gulations hereinafter specified and provided.
9 Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated
1Q area of Butte County, Chico, more particularly described as

book 44 on Page 59 of the Butte County Recorder.

Beginning at the NE corner of Lot 5 of "Bay
T.4 Tract No . l" per map recorded in ?Tap Book 1
on Page 42 of the Butte County Recorder;

SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOP AN "S-R" DISTRICT:
The fallowing regulations shall apply in an "S-R"
District:
(A} USES PERMITTED:
1. One single-family d~+~elling pex parcel: not including
tents ox mobile homes.
2. Accessory bui.ldi.ngs perti~:ent to the permitted uses,
{B) AGRICULTURAL USES, except livestaclc, subject to the
following requirements:
~.. Exclusive of the area devoted to the residential
use, the following lot ox parcel areas shall be
~ecluired for eacl~ animal raised ax kept on the
premises:
a. For each horse or head of cattle over ane
year of. age, one (1} acre.
b. Fox each head of swine over ten weeks of age,
one (1 } acre .

2 _ _ _. far the- -first head and one half (1/2) acre
3 for each head thereafter.
4 (C) THE FOELOWTNG USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PFR~TT
5 TN EACH CASE:
~ 1. Public and quasi-public uses, including churches,
7 hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools and public
8 utility buildings.
9 2. Sales tract office.
10 (D) The provisions of Section 24-3~ shall apply.
11 SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not
12 specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited.
13 SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said
14 Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by adding
15 this Ordinance. in full.
• 16 SECTTON 5. The penalties far the violation of the zoning
17 hereby ~.mposed within the district shall be as provided in the
18 Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shah. from and after
19 its effective date become a supplement to and part of the Butte
20 County Code, Chapter 24.
21 SECTION G. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby de-
22 Glared to be in full farce and effect from and after thirty (30)
. g~ days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
24 fifteen (15) days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be pub-
; 25 fished ante with the names of the members of the Board of Super-
