AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN 1tRT-1-A" (MTNI~Ii1M DENSITY
RESIDENTIAL TRASLER) DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 24-29,
1 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
2 C.alifornia,.under and puxsuant to Chapter 2~-29 of the Butte County
3 Code of said County DO ORDATN as follows:
4 SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in
5 the County of Butte, State of California, shall he and it is hereby
6 zoned as an "RT-I-A" (Minimum Density Residential Trailer) Iistrict,
7 and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted
8 uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided.
9 Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated
10 area of Butte County, Chico, more particulaxly described as
I1 follows:
12 Lots 10, 11 and 1G of "Bay Tract Na. 1" per
map of record in map book 1 an Page l8 of the
13 Butte County Recorder.
].4 Lots 1, 2 and 3 of "Bay Tract No, 2" per map
of record in Map Boo2c 1 on page 42 of the
15 Butte County Recorder.
16 Containing 58 acres, more or less.
17 SECTION 2. REGULATIONS F()R AN "RT-1-=A" DISTRICT:
1.8 The following regulations shall apply in an "RT-i-A'f
19 District:
20 (A) USES PERMITTED:
21 .l. One single-family dwelling per parcel.
22 2. Mobile home to house one family, when such mobile
23 home is the only housing facility located on the
24 premises, provided the fallowing conditions are

a. The floor area within the mobile home shall not
be less than.SOfJ square feet.
b. Aii sanitary facilities shah conform to State
Statutes and regulations and to local require-
men a of the Health Department.
c. All electrical installations shall conform to
State Statutes and regulations.
3. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses.
~•. Household pets, but not including livestock, poultry,
or poisonous reptiles.
{B) LOT AREA REQUIRED:
k•~inimum lot area per dwelling unit sha11 be one acre
(43,5ba square feet)
(G) LOT ZYIDTH REQUIRED:
i~iinimum lot -width shall not be less than sixty-five
{65) feet.
(D) FRONT YARD REQUIRED:
Minimum front yard shall be fifty (5Q) feet from the
centerline of the road, except whexe the road is classi-
fied b7r the County as a Federal Aid Secondary Road the
mini~rtum building setbaclc requirement shall be fifty-five
(55) feet from the centerline of the road.
(E) SIDE AND REAR YARD REQUIRED:
I~Iinimum side and rear yard shall not be less than
five (5) feet .

(F) THE FOLLOZ~TING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PFRA~IIT ~,
IN EACH CASE:
1. Golf courses and country ciubs.
2. Public .and quasi-public uses including churches,
firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgro~znds, schools
and public utility buildings.
SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not
specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited.
SECTION 4: In compliance with the provisions of said
Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by adding
I this Ordinance in full .
SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the
zoning hereby impaled within the district shall be as provided in
the Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance 'shall from anc'~
after its effective date became a supplement to and part of the
Butte County Code, Chapter 24. .
SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby
declared to be in full force and effect Pram and after thirty (3 J]
days after the date of its passage, and befoxe the expiration of
fifteen (I 5) days after its passage, this Ordinance shah be
published ante with the names of the members of the Board of
Supervisors voting for and against it in the Chico Enterprise
record, a newspaper published in the Gaunty of Butte, State of
California.
