Tgg6 AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, A "SR-1" (SUBURBAN RESIDENTIAL} DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 24--29. 1 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of 2 alifornia, under and pursuant to Chapter. 24-29 of. the Butte .County 3 ode of said County DO ORDAIN as follows: 4 ~~ SECTION 1. The hereinai'ter described area situated in 5 the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby 6 zoned as a "SR--1" (Suburban Residential} District, and such area • 7 ~~sha11 be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and 10 ]~ 1 12 13 Z4 15 18 17 l8 19 20 2I. 22 23 24 25 26 g regulations hereinaf ter specified and provided. g Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated area of Butte County, Chico; mgre particularly described as follows: Lots 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and the easterly 85.8 ft. of Lot 7 of "Holmes Tract" per map of record in Map Book 6 on Page 36 of the Butte County Recorder. Excepting therefrom all -of "Rancho de Thunder" Sub Unit #1 per Map of Record in Map Book 58 on Pages 80 and 81 of the Butte County Recorder. Containing 102.46 acres, mare or less, Chico. SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR A 'TSR-1" DISTRICT: The following regulations shah. apply in a "SR-1" District (A) USES PERMI'T'TED 1. One single-family dwelling per parcel, not inc~.uding tents, trailers or mobile homes. 2. Accessary buildings pertinent to the permitted uses. 3. Agricultural uses excepting a minimum lot area of 43,550 square feet. to be devoted to residenti.a~. use and the following additional requirements for each animal kept on the premises. (b) For each sheep or goat - two thousand (2,000} square feet. 4, The minimum lot area per dwelling unit shall not be less than one acre, the provisions of Section 24-33 notwithstanding 5. The minimum. lot width shall not be less than one ', hundred thirty (130) feet, the provisions of Section 24--33 notwithstanding. (B) THE FOLLOTn1ING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PERMIT IN EACH CASE: 1. Golf courses and country clubs. 2. Public and quasi-public uses including churches, Firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools and public utility buildings. 3. Sales tract office. (C)~SECTION 24-33 SHALL APPLY EXCEPTING LOT WIDTH AND LOT AREA. SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not specifically authorized and permitted are prohibited. SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by adding this Ordinance in full. SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty X30) days after the date of its passage, and before the expirata.,on of fifteen (~.~} days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be publi ed once with the names of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against it in the Chico Enterprise Record, a news- paper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
