The Board of Supervisoxs of the County of Butte, State of California, under and pursuant to Chapter 24-29 of the Butte County Cade of laid County DO ORDAIN as follows: SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned as a "SR-3" [Suburban-Residential - 3 acre parcels) District, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided. Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated area of Butte Gaunty, Chico, more particularly described as follows: The W 1/2 of the NW 1/4 and the N 1/2 of the SW 1/4 of Section 2 T22N R1E, R~iDB~M excepting therefrom all that part ion located within the westerly 300 ft. of_ said Section 2. Containing l3l acres, more or less, Chico. SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR A "SR-3" DISTRICT: The following regulations sha11 apply in a "SR-3" District: [A) USES PERMITTED: Z. One single-family dwelling per parcel, not including tents, trailexs or mobile homes. 2. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses. 3. Agricultural uses excepting a minimum lot area of three [3) acres to be devoted to residential use and the following additional rec{uirements for each animal kept on the premises. -1- a, For each horse or head of cattle or swine over _ __ one year.. of _a.g~... -.. efight, thousand .one ,hundred... _... __ . . twenty-five [S , I2 5} square feet . b. The minimum lot area per dwelling unit shall not be less than :~~.3 nacres, the provisions of 5ectian 24-33 notwithstanding: 5. The minimum lot width shall not be less than one hundred thirty (130) feet, the provisions of Section 24-33 notwithstanding. (B) THE FOLLOWING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PERMIT IN EACH CASE: 1. Golf courses and country clubs. 2. Public and quasi_public uses including churches, firehouses, hospital, parks and playgrounds, schools and public utility buildings. 3. Sales tract office. In compliance with the provisions of said Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by adding this Ordinance in full. ~ SECTION 5. SECTION b. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be published once with the names of the members of the Board of 'Supervisors voting for and against it in the Chico Enterprise, a newspaper published in the County of Butte , State of California .
