AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OP THE COUNTY OF
BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "R-3" {A7ULTI •-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 24-29,
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, under,and_pursua~it to Chapter 24.-29 of the Butte County
Code of said Canty DO ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1, The hereinafter described area situated in
the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby
-zoned as an "R-3" (1,4ul.ti-Family Residential) District, and such area
:shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and re-
~gul.ati.ons here~.nafter specified and provaded.
Said area s•o zoned being located in the unincorporated
area of Butte County, Chico, more particularly described as follows:
That portion of Lot 12 of "Esmeralda Tract"
per map of record in leap Book 1 on Page 33
of the Butte County Recorder located west of :.
the west right-of-way Tine of State Highway 99,
Containing 3.02 acres, more or less, Chico.
SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR AN "R-3" DISTRICT:
The following regulations shall apply in an "R-3"
District.
(A) USES PERI4IITTIrD:
I. Dne-•famil,y dwellings, two-family dwellings and
multiple family dwellings, not including tents,
trailers, or mobile homes.
2. Accessary buildings pertinent to the permitted uses.

3. Sales tract office.
(C) THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 24-33-SHALL APPLY.
SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district nat
specifically authorized and permitted axe prohibited.
SECTION 4. Tn compliance with the provisions of said
Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by adding
I this Ordinance in full .
SECTION 5, The penalties for the violation of the zoning
hereby imposed ~~rithin the district shall be as provided in the
Butte County Code, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall from and after
its effective date became a supplement to and part of the Butte
County Code, Chapter- 24.
SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby
(declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty {30)
days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
fifteen {15} days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be
published once with the names of the members of the Board of
Supervisors voting far and against it in the. Chico Enterprise Record,
a ne~~rspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
