AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF
BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "R-1" (SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL} DISTRICT, FURSUANT TO CHANTER 24-29.
1 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
2 California, under and pursuant to Chapter 24-29 of the Butte. County
3 Code of said County DO ORDAIN as follo~as:
4 SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in
~ the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby
6 zoned as an "R-1" (Single Family Residential.) District, and such
7 area shall be subject to the restrictions anti restricted uses and re•
g gulations hereinafter specified a.nd provided.
g Said area so zoned being Located in the unincorporated
I.O area of Butte County, Paradise, more particularly described as

parcel of land lying within Lot 18, as shaven
l3 on that certain map entitled, "OFFICIAL MAN
OF THE SUBDIZrISION OF SECTION l~, T22N, R3E,

was filed in the office of the Recorder of tI~e

1922 in Boole "A" of Maps, at pages 22 and 13.

Beginning at the NE corner of T22N, R3E, MDB~M,

of said Section 1, 6b4.10 ft. to a point; .thence

(A) USES PERMTTTED:

tents, trailers, or mobile homes.
2. Accessary buildings pertinent to the permitted uses.
3. i-iausehold pets (but not including Livestock, poultry
ar.poisonous reptiles).
(B) THE FOLLO~h'TNG USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PERMiT
IN EACH CASE:
1. Gaff courses and country clubs.
2. Public and quasi-Public uses including churches,
firehouses, hospitals, parks, playgrounds, schools
and public utility buildings.
3. Sales tract office.
(C) THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 24-33 SHALL APPLY.
SECTION 3. All uses of Land within the district not
specifically authorized and per~iitted are prohibited.
SECTION 4. Tn compliance with the provisions of said
Butte County Code, Chapter 24, the same is hereby amended by adding
this Ordinance in full.
SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zanin~
hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the
Butte Gounty Cade, Chapter 24, this Ordinance shall from and after
its effective date become a supplement to and part of the Butte
County Code, Chapter 24.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby
declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30)

days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration. of
fifteen. {1.5)....days after ~.ts_..pass_ag~., this Ordinance shall be
published once with the names of the members of the Board of
Supervisors voting fox an against it in the Paradise Post, a news-
paper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, on the Ord day of April
1979, by the following vote:
